Erin is a professional writer and editor living in New York City. She has a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts and a decade of experience in the publishing industry. Her professional editorial experience is primarily in textbooks, with experience ranging from elementary school math and language arts to college-level science. She’s done editorial freelance work as a copyeditor and proofreader for a number of large publishing houses. She has a particular interest in genre fiction, especially romance and mysteries. She’s currently available to writers looking to add a little polish to their manuscripts, either before self-publishing or before looking for an agent.
In addition to her day job, Erin is a New York City municipal liaison for National Novel Writing Month and she helps run a local writers group. She reads lots, blogs, and says silly things on the Internet. She loves reading romance novels and also more erudite prose and nonfiction. She writes novels, too.
Her complete resume is available upon request. Please contact ekobrien7 at gmail dot com for more information.
